Burrabungle is a three hour drive from Melbourne, including a stop for coffee at Maloa House in Woodend.  You travel along the Calder Highway, bypassing Bendigo and then heading NW towards Mildura. Click here for the location on Google maps.

After Bendigo the terrain changes as we drive past wheat and canola fields

This is also sheep and cattle country.

After crossing the Loddon River and passing Inglewood, a rocky outcrop appears in the distance. This is Mt Korong.

Burrabungle lies on the slope of Mt Korong. We are nearly there.

About 19 km after Inglewood turn right onto the Wedderburn-Serpentine Road, also signposted Mt Korong. Almost 5 km along the road at the foot of Mt Korong, where the bush starts, there is a gate, marked Burrabungale and Private Property, No 459.

You have arrived!
